Innovating for Economic Growth Series
Be part of helping Maine meet our economic goals. Learn and connect with peers across the state to help tackle the economic challenges that stand in our way. Participants will engage in a cross-sector, online learning journey that increases knowledge of Maine’s economy, explores the data for decision-making, dives deeply into the goals of the state’s strategic and economic recovery plans, and focuses on innovation.
Advancing Equity Cohort
Still in the planning phase, our intent is to better understand what all of us can do to advance equity in our State. It’s an issue on everyone’s mind, especially when it comes to leadership. Our goal is to engage you in our planning, so that together we can do more than just talk — we can do.
Through the program, leaders:
- Increase their ability to examine the issues
- Learn new ways to lead in challenging times
- Practice using what they learn
- Connect with leaders across the state
Since 1993, Leadership Maine and Institute for Civic Leadership have introduced people to Maine, the issues, theories and skill-sets, and potential for their leadership to make a difference. Lead Now continues this tradition and deepens our commitment to ensure access to innovative online learning opportunities through its “reasonable for the times” tuition rates and scholarships.
“Training and development is one of the most important methods of impacting employee engagement and retention. The Institute for Civic Leadership is a wonderful way to invest in your up-and-coming people at all levels, or to round out senior level skills.”
