Greg Marley, Senior Clinical Director at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Maine, will kick off the event as our guest speaker, sharing tips and coping strategies for navigating this complex, fast-paced and demanding world, even in Maine. As professionals we seek to balance the demands of work that sometimes feels overwhelming. Establishing a professional identity can be challenging as we balance the demands of work and our personal lives. Stress is a constant companion and our bodies keep the score. Let’s talk about managing stress and avoiding burnout in a world that invites us to burn the candle at both ends.
Greg has practiced in the field of community mental health and prevention in Maine for over 30 years, as a clinician, clinical supervisor, manager, trainer, and consultant. Since 2007, he has delivered training and consultation on mental health, suicide prevention, and substance use, supporting the needs of a diverse set of statewide partners. Greg lives in Rockland with his family and spends his free time collecting, teaching, and writing about wild mushrooms.
Parking & directions to the Showcase will be sent in a confirmation email in early November.
