National Trust Resource Team to Present Its Visit-to-Rockland Findings Tonight

Public presentation by fact-finding team at 6:30 at Rockland City Hall - In June, Rockland was named the 10th Main Street Maine Community. As part of the program, the Maine Downtown Center provides a resource team visit.

The resource team from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Maine Downtown Center (part of the Maine Development Foundation) has been visiting Rockland for three days of meetings and interviews with groups from the public, businesses and the City of Rockland. The information gathered by the Resource Team will help set the direction for Rockland Main Street, Inc. for the next three years and beyond.

This fact-finding team will relay their findings in a public meeting at Rockland City Hall, 270 Pleasant Street, on Thursday, October 8, at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
