Michael Ashore, Training Officer at the Maine Commission for Community Service, will teach you the ins and outs of keeping your volunteer supporters energized and coming back – plus hear the proven strategies Main Street directors use to line up their community help.

Join us to honor four recipients of the Maine Downtown Center’s annual awards at a luncheon hosted at the Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta on Wednesday, September 26. These awards recognize exemplary efforts that have had transformative effects in downtowns: for Leadership, Individual Catalyst, Community Development, and Economic Development. Come get inspired!

Lunch is a buffet and will have vegetarian and vegan options.

The Maine Downtown Center was founded in 1999 as the statewide coordinator of the National Main Street program. Maine has 10 nationally accredited Main Street communities plus 15 local Affiliates.
