Downtown
Revitalization Executive Order
In June 2004, Governor
Baldacci issued an Executive Order to the Maine Downtown Center to address
barriers to downtown revitalization in Maine and to make recommendations for
how downtown revitalization can be encouraged in Maine on the state and local levels. In partnership with the State Planning
Office, the Maine Downtown Center has conducted research and issued a final report to the Governor which can be downloaded
by clicking on the title of the report (below).
